The Company and Policy
Studio Knitting Machines Canada is owned and operated by Peter J. Smith, a veteran of 40+ years in the Sewing and Knitting trade.
Started as a simple store-front operation over 4 decades ago, the Company has grown until now it has coast-to-coast sales in Canada and the U.S., and also serves many other parts of the world.
The Company’s reputation has been built on fair prices and fast service. To this end Peter
Smith has built the largest stock of new and used Studio & Passap Machines in Canada. He also has one of the largest stock of parts for Superba (White Knitting Machines), Japanese Knitting Books, coned yarns, etc. to be found anywhere.
All items are guaranteed. New equipment carries the manufacturer’s warranty, while Peter’s own limited guarantees cover used equipment, and also repair items.
Peter also places prime importance on after-sale Service. A fully-equipped Service Department, with parts for practically all machines in stock, ensures fast turn-around for repair, or parts orders.
Capping all this, a toll-free number gives immediate, no-charge access for customer enquiries. Customer support is also of prime importance in the scheme of things. Any enquiry is assured the full attention of a courteous service representative.
As a Distributor, Peter is also well aware of the importance of his Canadian Dealer support network. His aim is to ensure they have the very best possible product lines available to service their customers in their areas.
